A Contract Full Time role within a government research organization focused on enhancing defence technologies.
Requires: Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Salary guide: $80 - $100 per hour.
Location: Brisbane region of Queensland.
Your normal day will involve: Conducting research, design, and analysis on aeronautical systems, including fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
Performing technical assessments and testing to ensure reliability, safety, and efficiency of defence aviation systems.
Contributing to the design, modification, and improvement of aeronautical components and structures.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to solve engineering challenges.
Using modelling, simulation, and testing tools to evaluate aircraft systems' performance.
Preparing technical reports, presentations, and documentation.
