For this position, these will include, but are not limited to:Excellent flexible working and additional leave benefits including:Additional Public Holidays5 days additional paid Carers Leave per annumPaid Community Service Leave14 weeks paid Parental Leave for both parentsAccess to hybrid work and other flexible optionsFitness passportAccess to discounted health fund and health servicesAccess to the Employee Assistance programRemuneration & Hours:Reward and Recognition ProgramSalary package up to $173,000 (includes superannuation)The OpportunityAs the Supply Chain Manager, you will lead and deliver Hunter Water’s supply chain strategy, including implementing continuous improvement and effective risk management, to optimise best practice outcomes and build enduring resilience in Hunter Water’s supply chain.What you'll do:Embed supply chain management capability to build resilience in Hunter Water’s supply chain and minimise business disruption risk.Develop solutions to mitigate potential business disruption, proactively identifying supply chain risks and opportunities before they arise and resolving issues effectively and efficiently.Ensure Hunter Water’s supply chain policies, processes and business practices are in accordance with the relevant Security of Critical Infrastructure (SOCI) Act, and satisfy the obligations under Hunter Water’s Critical Infrastructure Risk Management Program (CIRMP).Lead the development and continuous improvement of effective supply chain reporting processes to monitor and report supply chain performance and risk.Manage supply chain activities including purchasing, inventory management, and accounts payable and develop and foster a high performing team that exhibits customer focused behaviour with a positive and proactive team culture, and who consistently challenge the status quo.Lead innovation in supply chain management, including sustainable procurement initiatives, the application of our Supplier Partnership Principles, progression of First Nations and Local Supplier initiatives, Modern Slavery action plan, and supply chain carbon emission reporting.What you'll need to be successful:Tertiary qualifications in Business, Law, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field.Comprehensive background in supply chain management and commercial procurement leadership with a strong sense of business ethics and probity.Extensive experience in supply chain management identifying, assessing and mitigating risk and building supply chain resilience.Demonstrated experience in delivering sustainable procurement initiatives.Demonstrated experience in leading others to support complex problem solving and proactively challenging the status quo.Experience in leading, coaching and mentoring high-performing teams.Experience in leading and directing strategic change.Post Graduate qualifications in supply chain management, business, commercial law, logistics, project management or related field.Relevant experience in the utilities sector or related industry.Relevant experience in Enterprise Resource Planning and Enterprise Resource Management applications with an ability to extract, analyse and report data to make strategic decisions.Application Steps:To be considered for this position applicants must submit a cover letter addressing the Selection Criteria above and provide a current resume.Application closing date: Wednesday, 27 November 2024.
