They lead the development and delivery of digital health solutions that enhance information sharing, connectivity, and health infrastructure. Their key initiatives include managing a national online health record system, promoting the use of electronic prescriptions, and supporting telehealth services.Your new roleAs the Director, Project Management, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a small team to:Maintain a ‘horizon view’ of emerging programs and projects and provide detailed advice and guidance in accordance with the Agency Project Portfolio Management Framework (PPMF).Manage project planning, including coordinating financial estimates, business case phases, and the delivery plan/approach.Effectively manage project/program resources and facilitate the appointment of individuals to project teams, including managing recruitment as required.Drive consistency and standards across the organisation on how programs and projects are delivered in accordance with the Agency PPMF and tools, ensuring key corporate and governance commitments are maintained holistically, in addition to routine reporting managed by each of the program/project teams.Complete other duties as directed.What you'll need to succeedHave experience across a mix of policy and program roles in the public sector, applying your knowledge of the policy landscape to identify emerging digital health priorities, then lead the team to plan and manage projects and initiatives which the organisation is responsible for delivering.Enjoy working in a small core team that is flexible and versatile to respond to project needs, including adjusting resourcing/work allocation as required to ensure projects are supported by people with the skills most relevant to each project phase.Be able to lead teams that consist of both generalists and specialists.Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to drive initiatives for successful outcomes.Respond flexibly to changing demands and be comfortable leading in times of ambiguity.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will have the opportunity to work with a forward-thinking organisation that is at the forefront of digital health innovation.
