Job Description
A challenging opportunity exists for a motivated and skilled Health Services Officer to join the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) team in a part-time capacity.
About the Role
* Maintain food preparation, service, and waste management areas in a clean and hygienic state within the LGH.
* Ensure all food service equipment and surfaces are kept clean and hygienic.
* Utilize food preparation equipment while adhering to safe food handling requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with other personnel to work as a cohesive team.
* Understand and comply with workplace health and safety protocols.
Key Requirements
* Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
* Experience working in a healthcare environment is desirable.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
* A competitive salary range of $57,130 to $59,443 per annum, pro rata.
* Access to salary packaging benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 and meal entertainment up to $2,650 each FBT year.
