We are seeking Accounts Receivable Customer ServiceOfficersto provide solution focused outcomes as part of our customer contact centre. This includes assisting customers (patients) through telephone contact, webportal, email correspondence and carrying out other administrative tasks. The focus of these roles is to resolve consumer (patient) billings for Ambulance Victoria Service fees. These 2-year fixed-term opportunities are full time and located at Ballarat or Blackburn/Doncaster. About the role Reporting to the Team Leader AR Customer Service, responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Provide a high standard of customer service engagement identifying customers' needs Manage high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner, supported by monitoring of performance dashboards and workload Maintain compliance, accuracy and confidentiality of records associated with customer account details Develop and foster constructive and effective working relationships within Financial Transaction Services Team and across the wider AV Undertake general administrative duties and other tasks About you To be considered for this position you will possess: Certificate in Business/Finance or equivalent (desirable) Proven customer service skills with an ability meet performance call handling targets High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and quality control Strong verbal communication skills to engage professionally with internal and external customers Intermediate Microsoft office suite competence level including Word and Excel Working at Ambulance Victoria As a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
