Deal with matters of an urgent or sensitive nature. Exercise discretion and sensitivity and maintain confidentiality. Demonstrates leadership within a team environment and actively contribute to team activities including meetings and decision-making processes. Communicate effectively and in a timely fashion with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including: - Clinical Streams, Multidisciplinary teams Other Clinical Divisions Medical Workforce Unit Health Information Services POSITION PURPOSE Involvement with management of Basic Physician trainees across at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney. Developing strong working relationships with stakeholders in teaching and training, medical workforce, and hospital administrations. Selection Criteria: • Possess, or be eligible to possess, specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); • Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent. • Demonstrated commitment to teaching at specialty registrar, junior medical officer and undergraduate levels; • Demonstrated superior organizational skills and the ability to coordinate and develop a strong teaching program through to examination stage; • Demonstrated superior interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization and with external stakeholders • Demonstrated understanding of hospital funding models and approach to optimization of activity capture • Demonstrated participation in clinical coding optimization in the hospital • Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries To apply for this position, please click here Applications close on 25/11/24
