Job Description
* Identify and research new and existing customers across Australia.
* Set up promotions with retailers to increase product exposure and sales volume.
* Review and optimise retail product ranges in collaboration with the Country Manager and Marketing Manager.
* Negotiate and finalise business deals with buyers, planners, and category managers from leading retailers to secure long-term contracts and partnerships.
* Identify and secure business opportunities, focusing on innovative applications for Velcro products.
* Collaborate with the Country Manager, Global SBU management, and Marketing Manager to design and market new retail product ranges.
* Manage and grow consumer retail markets, constantly seeking to generate new business.
The Successful Applicant
* Proven track record in account management, adept at cultivating existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
* Deep understanding of the consumer retail industry, with experience selling to buyers, category managers, and planners.
* Skilled in negotiating and closing projects with headquarters and stores, including successful range reviews and promotions.
* Experience with distribution management is a big plus.
* Demonstrates soft skills such as open-mindedness, analytical thinking, professionalism, and a strong drive for sales.
* Residing in the Melbourne area and possessing full working rights
