An exciting opportunity exists for a Social Worker Advanced (Social Work Statewide Workforce Development Officer). This position provides strategic leadership, support, advice and facilitation of the Statewide Social Work workforce and clinical education and training initiatives. The position will support and facilitate the profession's objectives of equity in access and delivery of value based, evidence informed and innovative care, provided by a skilled and sustainable workforce.
The position may be located in any Hospital and Health Service (HHS) dependent upon the outcome of Statewide recruitment and the specific Health Service's capacity to host the position.

Key Responsibilities include:
* provide strategic direction and leadership in the design, implementation and evaluation of workforce and clinical education and training initiatives, ensuring alignment with Statewide education, workforce and service priorities and plans.
* Analyse and interpret service delivery and workforce related policy, research and data, to inform and influence workforce development initiatives, improvement projects and partnering opportunities.
* Lead in the delivery of key projects/initiatives within agreed timeframes and in line with relevant project management methodology to achieve best practice in Social Work service provision. The position will also, ensure such initiatives are responsive to profession and service needs, meet quality standards and are sustainable in a healthcare environment.
* Undertake and produce complex executive reports, submissions, presentations and information papers regarding new models of care, transformation projects and Social Work workforce improvements, including challenges and opportunities, duplication of services and gaps in workforce capability development.
Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $151,289 p.a., comprising salary rates: $73.12 - $76.30 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (temporary position available for Three months, 30.4 hrs p.f.).
