Who are we looking for:
We are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team. As a PCA, you will be responsible for providing practical and emotional support to individuals within a Residential Aged Care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support consumers with daily living tasks such as personal care, grooming, etc.
* Provide emotional support and companionship to consumers, ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
* Promote independence and encourage consumers to achieve their goals and aspirations.
* Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
* Communicate effectively with other professionals involved in the consumers' care, including family members and external healthcare professionals.
What you will need:
You are an enthusiastic, motivated, self-starter who is eager to develop a career in aged care. To be considered for these roles, you will need:
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Specialisation), or equivalent and/or Certificate IV in Aged Care, Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
* Previous experience working in an aged care facility.
* Ability to build effective relationships and work within a team.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
* Current Police Check or willing to obtain.
* Working With Children clearance.
* Up-to-date Vaccination requirements as per the Australian Immunisation Handbook.
