Novus Auto Glass Gladstone is seeking a hands-on Manager to provide high quality service and workmanship and manage the day-to-day operations.
Job Duties Grow the business. Maintain customer relationships. Drive team performance and inspection processes. Training and development of staff. Organise store operations and allocate responsibilities. Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance. Manage Inventory of parts/supplies. Resolve complaints from customers to maintain the store's reputation. Quoting and invoicing through Service M8. Make sales calls to local businesses to promote NOVUS Glass and increase sales. Repair or replace glass and related materials such as windshields, back glass, passenger door glass and heating elements on vehicles while consistently meeting or exceeding Novus Glass technical standards. Replace or adjust motorized or manual window-raising mechanisms. Examine glass for defects prior to installation. When necessary, cut glass according to specified patterns, or perform precision patternmaking and glass cutting to custom fit replacement windows. When necessary, shape or smooth edges of uneven glass. Consistently and strictly adhere to company Workplace Health and Safety procedures using the safety equipment provided. Completing ADAS Radar calibrations as required. Other related tasks as required. Requirements At least 5 years of Automotive Glass Repair Service Management experience. Exceptional attention to detail. Strong communication skills in person and on the telephone. Be available to work a flexible schedule. Must have a valid driver's license. Excellent Customer Service Skills and Sales Skills. Working Conditions Physical ability to lift up to 38 kgs. Travel to off-site locations. Working both indoor and outdoor may be required. Hours: Monday – Thursday – 7:30am to 4pm & Friday 7:30am to 2pm
