Your responsibilities will include: About the role: This is an exciting opportunity to join Lockheed Martin Australia during a period of continuous growth. We are seeking multiple Engineering Project Managers to provide engineering leadership, drive capability delivery, and support staff development across both current programs and new business opportunities. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Accountable for overall engineering technical, cost, and schedule performance on a specific program. Track Earned Value Management (EVM) to monitor program performance and identify technical or operational staffing risks while managing cost and schedule. Work with the PM to ensure organisational standard processes are adapted, approved, and followed. Provide appropriate support for business development opportunities within the Engineering Project Management capability. Lead efforts to proactively identify and resolve technical issues across the business and programs. Actively manage the Engineering function within a project to deliver immediate and long-term technical goals, meeting business and customer objectives. Provide technical direction to project teams, ensuring high-quality delivery that satisfies cost, schedule, regulatory compliance, and technical requirements. Continuously drive capability improvement and excellence within the project engineering community. About you: To be successful in this role, you will have: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline from a recognised institution and/or equivalent relevant experience. Extensive experience in engineering management, risk mitigation, and business improvement methodologies. Extensive leadership and relationship-building experience, with the ability to manage through influence, form creative partnerships, identify issues, drive innovation, and build consensus to achieve business objectives. Experience conducting a range of independent technical reviews. Ability to break down complex issues into understandable components and effectively interface with management and staff at all levels. Advanced understanding of existing and emerging engineering industry capabilities. Advanced communication and influencing skills, including the ability to prepare and present concise oral and written reports, briefings, updates, and other documentation to a wide range of stakeholders. Eligible to attain Chartered Professional Engineer status in relevant disciplines, such as Systems Engineering and Leadership & Management. Experience in Product Lifecycle Management or continuous sustainment and modernisation is highly desirable. Eligibility to obtain an Australian NV-1 security clearance and the ability to access/handle Export Controlled technology, data, and information.
