The Role: Reporting to the Electrical and Process Control Supervisor, the Electrical Shift Technician will undertake repairs of electrical, electromechanical and electronic equipment across the facility on rotating 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities: Inspecting, maintaining troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems across various departments including: Batch and Furnace, Forming, Inspection, Packaging, Warehouse and moreUndertaking routine inspections on cooling and process water system, compressors and driers and vacuum pumpsExecuting preventative maintenance tasks assigned by Electrical and Process Control SupervisorAssist Fitters with mechanical tasks during breakdowns to achieve a dual approach to breakdown management and to minimise downtimeCompleting minor resets, adjustments and repairs to AGV'sPerform all work in compliance with applicable codes, standards, safety and environmental regulations This role follows the 2 days on – 2 days off – 2 nights on – 2 days off rotating shift pattern.
The successful applicants will: Hold an A Class Electrical licence & Trade certificateHave previous experience as an electrician in the industrial maintenance fieldHave exposure to Automation and PLCBe able to understand machine functionality and read electrical schematics Candidates holding Boom Lift, Confined Space and Forklift licences will be highly desirable.
