We are seeking an experienced Asset or Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize the management and maintenance of the fleet of vehicles and trailer-based systems for a large traffic management and safety organisation.
This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of assets, coordinating maintenance schedules, managing relationships with service providers, and optimizing fleet performance to meet contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities Fleet Management: Monitor the fleet's operational status to ensure we meet contractual obligations, keeping fleet management software up-to-date and accurate.
Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with Maintenance Teams to ensure repairs and service plans are executed efficiently.
Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and service partners, while assisting with troubleshooting and fault resolution.
Reporting: Regularly report on fleet status, performance, and improvements to senior management.
Technical Support: Provide after-hours and weekend support for deployed systems, ensuring systems are running smoothly.
About You You will be a skilled and proactive fleet manager with a strong background in asset management or a related field.
You will have a proven track record of overseeing the maintenance, servicing, and coordination of vehicles, ideally within a high-tech or operational environment.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent leadership skills, successfully guiding and motivating a team to achieve operational efficiency.
Your ability to prioritize tasks, plan effectively, and make data-driven decisions will be essential to ensuring the fleet's optimal performance.
You will have strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders, including service partners and subcontractors.
