This role will engage widely across EnergyCo, NSW Government agencies and community stakeholders with a focus on delivering positive outcomes and maximising opportunities for regional communities during the transition to renewable energy.The implementation of robust engagement strategies and development of policies that integrate within existing regulatory frameworks, and local and State government planning processes, is an essential role of the Corporation in leading the delivery of the State's REZs and ensuring that benefits are shared with regional communities.The Manager Policy will work with senior executives and agency counterparts to lead the development of innovative policies and guidelines that support viable business opportunities for renewable energy projects and benefits for host communities.About You To be successful in the role, you will have an understanding and/or lived experience of the priorities and issues affecting regional and rural communities.You will have demonstrated professional experience developing policy or program advice, with preference given to experience in the context of infrastructure project development/delivery or strategic/environmental planning.As a leader with strong communication and engagement skills, you will have demonstrated experience in developing strong stakeholder relationships in the delivery of major programs, initiatives or infrastructure projects in regional settings.Relevant tertiary qualifications in the fields of environmental planning, law, renewable energy generation, energy markets, land use management and/or other relevant disciplineCurrent Australian Drivers licence (Class C minimum) and willingness to travel.To Apply If excited by the information above, we look forward to receiving your application, including a copy of your resume and cover letter expressing your interest and suitability for the role.Applications close Sunday 27 October 2024 at 11:55pm.
