Mining - Operations (Mining, Resources & Energy)Full timeRandstad are seeking immediate applications from suitable candidates for the role of a site-based Supervisor/Construction Specialist within a leading mining and resources organisation based in South Australia. Due to a large growth phase currently underway and the commitment to major upgrades on projects, this exciting opportunity is available from early 2025.Key responsibilities of this role include:Manage the execution of projects and specifically managing the contractors doing the projects.Organise all services like cranes, scaffolding condition monitoring etc as well as ordering various parts, PPE and consumables.Conduct field leadership and job checks on each project every day.Responsible for quality control of the projects like signing of ITR's by following ITP's.Support the site project managers on their individual projects especially when they are off site.The successful candidate will possess:A trade background including civil, mechanical or electrical.A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar Mining or Heavy Industry.Computer skills are required and SAP/Fiori knowledge highly desired.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Energetic with a positive, can-do attitude.Must be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and preference will be given to those with mining experience.This position will commence in early 2025, so if you are looking for that fresh start in the new year, the time is now to join an established organisation offering good structure and support, further career opportunities, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.Please send an updated CV to amanda.eichler@randstad.com.au or alternatively click on the apply now button to submit a CV.
