We have an exciting opportunity to work as an Administrative Officer within the Orange Door. The Orange Door is a family violence specialist service that provides first response to those seeking assistance after family violence and child well-being concerns. The administrative officers primary focus will be supporting staff from Western Health who primarily focus on working with people using violence. About this Role: Position: Orange Door Administrative Officer. Location: Werribee and Footscray. Annual Leave: 5 weeks per year. Part time position (4 days per week). Fixed term contract until June 2026. Key Responsibilities : Complete various administrative tasks to assist Orange Door Home Agency Manager, Practitioners, Team Leaders, and the Practice Lead within the hub at the Western Melbourne Orange Door. Support practitioners with administrative follow-up regarding incomplete referrals with Victoria Police. Provide onboarding and offboarding assistance for Western Health Orange Door staff. Provide administrative task assistance to SIT and A&P teams to screen and create cases for clients on client management system (CRM). Preparation of meeting agendas and minutes. About The Orange Door: The Orange Door aims to support individuals and families experiencing family violence by providing a central access point to services tailored to their unique needs. Our key priority is to reduce the risk of harm associated with controlling, violent, and abusive behaviour through comprehensive risk assessment and management strategies. We achieve this by: Providing a visible contact point for individuals seeking specialist support. Assisting people in identifying family violence and child well-being issues. Offering advice based on contemporary risk assessment tools and guidance. Providing specialist support and tailored advice for victims, families, children, and people using violence.
