Position suitable for a trade qualified applicant or relevant experience Great opportunity for career advancement Company motor vehicle offered with role ofi is a leading global integrated supply chain manager, processor and grower of agricultural products and food ingredients, supplying various products across 16 platforms to over 13,000 customers worldwide.With a direct presence in more than 65 countries with sourcing and processing in most major producing countries, Olam has built a global leadership position in many of its businesses.In Australia & New Zealand, we operate in multiple products including coca, dairy, and almonds.The purpose of this role is to support the Carwarp Stock pad operations team in ensuring the Mobile plant equipment is available at all times for the Stock pad operation.This includes the servicing, maintenance, and repair of equipment per servicing and operational requirements.Reporting to the Equipment Maintenance Supervisor, you will have the autonomy to: Machinery Maintenance Assist the Operations team in the planning, monitoring, and managing of Stock Pad equipment Ensure continuous improvement through innovations to labour, consumables and stock management, as well as ensuring planning records are accurately recorded Ensure costs and programmed maintenance records are accurately captured and analysed with continual improvement Assist in the establishment of quality assurance procedures and practices and coordinate servicing equipment repairs.Supplier Management Ensure works are completed within the decided timeline, in line with the planned maintenance program Ensure warehousing stocks are delivered in accordance with maintenance schedules Adhere to overall company requirements and budgets Leadership Improve performance and productivity by participating in Performance and Development reviews Assist in the development of recording budgets Participate in ongoing professional development, as required Productivity Drive efficiency through maintenance schedules, lower consumption costs and reduced management costs across farms Develop processes to ensure improved equipment reliability Safety Ensure maintenance technicians are trained and equipped to effectively carry out the maintenance program Work in conjunction with the Operations team and the Environment Health & Safety Manager to ensure all operations are well managed.This is a 'hands on' role for someone who has a mechanical or metal fabrication trade.Experience in Mobile plant equipment and Almond handling equipment repairs and maintenance is desirable.Previous positions held in a workshop and/or workshop management are essential, and current car and HR truck license are required.You will possess a good understanding of programmed maintenance of machinery, with capable computer and risk assessment skills.Passionate about continual improvement.Only Australian based employees with full work rights need apply.You must be confident of passing our pre-employment medical/drug screen as we have a zero-tolerance policy to drugs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
