If you're looking for a role where you can make a meaningful impact and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply and join our journey!What is the role?Working closely with company management to review, reformulate and develop products for our target marketImproving existing products (sourcing raw materials, liaising with suppliers)Maintaining and developing our Quality Control Program with a strong working knowledge of FSANZ codeLiaising and building relationships with external suppliers conducting experiments and tests to identify the chemical composition and reactive properties of natural substances and processed materialsAnalysing and conducting research to develop theories, techniques and processes, and testing the reliability of outcomes under different conditionsDeveloping practical applications of experimental and research findingsTesting food products for flavour, colour, taste, texture and nutritional contentAdvising on preserving, processing, packaging, storing and delivering beverages and foodDeveloping quality control procedures and safety standards for the manufacture of food productsManaging time frames, deadlines and schedules to company and customer expectationsCreating, developing, implementing and maintaining products and processesMaintaining and improving Quality Control Assurance systemsWhat will you need?Tertiary qualifications in Food Technology or related fieldStrong relevant experience in a Product Development role within a manufacturing environmentHands-on experience with a proven track record in the practical, commercial implementation of research ideas and conceptsKnowledge of Australian food legislation and quality control systemsExperience in an FMCG Environment (desirable)Ability to advise on preserving, processing, packaging, storing and delivering foods and beverages.Experience developing quality control procedures and safety standards for the manufacture of food productsHigh-Level communication skills - both written and verbalExcellent computer skillsInnovation, research and product design skillsProven analytical and highly developed problem-solving skillsPositive attitude and achievement motivated
