Temporary Part Time until September 2025 - 15 hours per week

$38.54 to $44.31 per hour plus 11.5% superannuation

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Executive Office team as the Executive Office Assistant for a part-time fixed term period until September 2025.
About the role
You will provide high level, confidential, efficient and professional administrative support to the Executive Office and provide efficient and effective service to manage the flow of information between CEO, Mayor and Councillors and the organisation.
The position offers plenty of variety and challenge and the opportunity to gain wider experience and knowledge of the Office of CEO functions of Council.
About You
You will be a confident communicator with experience in providing executive, administrative and project support in a confidential, complex and politically sensitive office environment.
Other duties include:
* Provide high level, confidential, efficient and professional administrative support to the Executive Office.
* Provide efficient and effective service to manage the flow of information between CEO, Mayor and Councillors and the organisation, delivering successful outcomes aligned to the organisation’s strategies, policies and values.
* Always maintaining confidentiality and professional presentation, representing the brand, status and significance of the Office of the CEO function.
* Undertake special projects and other duties from time to time as agreed.
You will have:
* Ability to gain understanding and work towards Latrobe City Council’s organisational values, vision, policies and procedures. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft software and ability to learn different software applications.
* Experience in the provision of executive, administrative and project support in a confidential, complex and politically sensitive office environment.
* Neatness, attention to detail and high accuracy of work.
* A proven record of being able to manage time, set priorities and meet deadlines with competing priorities.
* High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build trusting relationships and consult, liaise and negotiate with stakeholders
* Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children's Check.
