About the Branch
The Procurement, Risk and Contract Management Branch provides advice on and manages the Government's procurement policy and framework, administers Tasmanian Government common use contracts, and proactively minimises the cost of risk to government agencies through the Tasmanian Risk Management Fund.
Employment Details
Permanent, full-time position available in Hobart, Tasmania.
Award: Tasmanian State Service Award - General Stream Band 5.
$99,482.00 to $104,352.00 per annum, pro rata.
Key Responsibilities
* Undertake policy research and identify problems and possible solutions.
* Provide advice on and manage the Government's procurement policy and framework.
* Administer Tasmanian Government common use contracts.
* Proactively minimise the cost of risk to government agencies through the Tasmanian Risk Management Fund.
Selection Criteria
* The ability to undertake policy research and identify problems and possible solutions.
* Excellent communication skills, including well-developed written skills and the ability to communicate effectively and succinctly with a range of stakeholders.
* Strong analytical skills, including the ability to review both financial and non-financial data.
