Senior Talent Assistant (12-month fixed term contract)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Talent Assistant to join the Human Resources team in our Ipswich office. Working in conjunction with the Talent Manager, the post holder will help to deliver an effective talent strategy - attracting, engaging and securing talent - in order to meet the Firms' current and future strategic needs.
You will be responsible for running end-to-end recruitment processes around the Firm, managing the expectations of internal stakeholders, and ensuring that an exceptional candidate experience is delivered.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Monitor the Recruitment email inbox
2. Partner with stakeholders to understand recruitment requirements
3. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle
4. Act as first point of contact for the Talent function
5. Production of employment paperwork for new starters
6. Update and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
7. Conduct Background Screening on all new starters
8. Conduct psychometric tests on candidates and staff where required
9. Hold HR Induction meetings with all new starters
10. Work in conjunction with the Talent Manager to manage relationships with external Recruitment Partners, and maintain an effective PSL
11. Stay up to date with labour market trends, FCA regulation, competitor hiring activities, and innovative recruitment strategies

Candidate Profile:
1. Good standard of education - at least 5 GCSE's at grade 4 or above (including Maths and English)
2. At least 2 years experience of working in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment Consultancy
3. Previous experience of working within a professional services environment
4. Previous experience managing a full recruitment lifecycle
5. Previous experience of conducting background screening
6. Good administration skills
7. A passion for recruitment
8. CIPD or relevant recruitment qualifications are desirable
Contractual Hours:
9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
