Gold Coast Private Hospital was established in 2016 and is a 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres, we offer a wide range of specialties, including 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

Your responsibilities as an Infection Control Clinical Nurse
* Collaborate with the Infection Control Coordinator, transitioning from guided to self-directed responsibilities in Infection Prevention & Control practices.
* Develop an understanding of risk management strategies to protect patients, staff, and visitors, ensuring a healthy environment.
* Ensure the hospital meets standards, complies with regulations, and strives for continuous improvement.
* Implement infection control programs to ensure high-quality patient care and staff safety.
* Utilise external Infection Control Consultants (HICMR) to enforce policies and procedures.
* Assist with Infection Control education and staff health programs.
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Authority to Work in Australia
* A current Working with Children check (if relevant)
* A Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent qualification
* Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
* Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
* A commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
* Strong teamwork abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Proactive, motivated, and customer-focused behaviour
