Role:We are looking for an energetic, focused, self-starter to lead the sales efforts for our Marriott branded select service hotel.
This role requires active engagement with the Gladstone business community as well as local, area and regional industry organizations.
Developing and growing business relationships is critical for property success, so continuous networking and business development activities are a priority.
This role directly reports to the property General Manager with a dotted line report to the VP, Sales & Marketing.Hotel Director of Sales Duties:Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve company objectivesLead and manage the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance, support, and trainingOversee the customer service function to ensure high levels of customer satisfactionIdentify new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential clientsDrive business development efforts to expand market share and increase revenueCollaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing strategies with overall company goalsUtilize Salesforce or other CRM tools to track sales activities, analyze data, and generate reportsManage key accounts and develop strong relationships with clientsStay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activitiesQualifications:Proven experience in a leadership role within sales and marketingStrong background in technical sales or technology sales preferredDemonstrated success in driving sales growth and achieving revenue targetsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively foster a positive work environmentStrong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities for growthExperience in account management and outside salesProficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM softwareWe offer competitive compensation packages including salary, bonus potential, and benefits.
