Overview of the Role: The primary role of the Warranty Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all warranty claims are submitted to the manufacturer, all recall notification is sent in a timely manner, communicated effectively to all relevant stakeholders, advising dealers of warranty approval, updating regulators, maintaining customer satisfaction, and complying with regulatory standards.
Efficient warranty management is vital for customer safety, brand reputation, and legal compliance.
Operational Responsibilities: Oversee all warranty claims and ensure timely processing is achieved within company and contractor guidelines Provide timely notice of upcoming warranty policy revisions to relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate all recall activities in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory body policies.
Plan and organise recall campaigns, including timelines, resources, and communication plans.
Develop and implement recall strategies and action plans.
Work with local national stakeholders to ensure the distribution of recall items.
Track and manage the inventory of recall parts and materials in liaison with the parts department.
Maintain accurate records of all warranty transactions.
Prepare and submit necessary recall documentation.
Monitor recall notices received by clients and ensure they are actioned by relevant parties.
Provide updates to senior management and other stakeholders on recall progress.
Handle external inquiries and provide warranty-related support.
Communicate warranty related concerns to internal department representatives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party workshops.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing timely and effective support.
Manage internal databases and systems to ensure timely closure of repair orders.
Maintain warranty policies and procedures.
Process warranty claims from submission to approval.
Review and verify claims for accuracy and completeness.
Analyse warranty data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Generate reports on warranty costs, claims, and performance metrics.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to workshops regarding warranty claims.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for recalls.
Monitor the progress of recall campaigns to ensure timely completion.
Address and resolve customer issues related to warranties and recalls.
Provide support and redundancies to internal parts department.
Other duties as required.
