They seek a dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead their technical team, ensuring smooth park operations.
About the opportunity
As the Maintenance Manager, you will provide direction and support to a team of experienced mechanical fitters, electricians, grounds and buildings team members, and aquatics technicians. In order to ensure the continuous smooth running of the park's rides, attractions and facilities, you will lead your skilled team to deliver maintenance programs, projects, and effective systems. You will also be responsible for managing maintenance processes and procedures, overseeing winter shutdown maintenance operations, conducting site and prestart inspections, recruiting, onboarding, managing performance, training, assessment, and staff development
About you
The ideal candidate showcases leadership in technical environments with a safety-first mindset. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, as their 2IC, you'll be a strong leader who thrives in dynamic environments, resolving challenges and building relationships.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
7. Extensive experience of mid-senior level management experience in a technical environment
8. A demonstrated background in leading, coaching & mentoring teams
9. The ability to work to dynamic roster patterns to meet the needs of the operation.
10. Project and Program Management experience
11. Ability to manage preventative maintenance programs and procedures
12. Experience in managing 3rd party engineers and contractors
13. Skills in preparing and working to budgets and schedules
14. High level of problem-solving in technical environments
15. Relevant trade or Tertiary qualifications – mechanical & electrical fitting trade - desirable
16. Experience with maintenance systems ( MEX, SAP or similar)
17. Experience in a high-safety industry such as Aviation, fixed plant maintenance, mobile plant maintenance or manufacturing would be an advantage
