About the role
As a Fleet Allocator, your role is to allocate and assign jobs to our team of drivers through the internal Operating System. You will ensure this is completed by creating efficiencies and optimising operations to ensure the effective movement of cargo to/from wharf and customer premises
Role Location: North Fremantle, WA
Hours approximately: 3pm – 1am
Role Type: Full time
What your role at Qube will look like:
1. Plan the shift transport function to ensure delivery and receipt of cargo is completed in accordance with allocated timeslots and customer/client requirements
2. Allocate jobs to drivers throughout the shift to achieve operational requirements
3. Provide drivers with required delivery paperwork
4. Communicate effectively with all drivers, customers & seek advice from the Transport Manager / Supervisor to resolve transport problems as they arise
5. Efficient utilisation and management of data management system
6. Create and provide accurate client booking and release details as requested
7. Timely response to issues raised by major clients with courtesy at all times
What you can bring to Qube:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following;
8. Prior experience in a Fleet Allocator, Scheduling, Rostering position
9. Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
10. Time management skills ensuring you meet the ongoing requirements of the task at hand
11. Sound computer knowledge and able to pick up new computer systems quickly
12. Great interpersonal and communication skills
13. Reliable, team player, with a can-do attitude
14. Strong data entry and accuracy
15. Outstanding attention to detail, time management, and organisation skills
16. Focused and compliant with all safe work practices
17. Must be fit for work with a good level of fitness and general health
