The Clinical Inventory Nurse Unit Manager role is a key position within the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, specifically at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. This full-time, permanent position oversees the team responsible for managing the day-to-day processes for equipment, consumables, and imprest products required to support patient care in the Technical Suite.
The successful candidate will ensure governance of protocols under SA Health Procurement guidelines for procurement, product contract management, assessment, and conduct of product trials, as well as development and maintenance of Consignment Agreements. Effective stakeholder relationships with Medical Officers, Nursing Staff, and Health Company Representatives are also crucial aspects of this role.
About the Role
* Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post-registration experience
* Demonstrated competence in relevant nursing/midwifery practice according to standards of practice
* Experience in management and leadership roles, project management, and effective leadership skills
* Able to prioritise workload, meet timelines, and be creative and innovative in approaching healthcare issues
* Leadership and promotion of stakeholder engagement strategies, change management, and knowledge of relevant legislation, industrial agreements, and standards
