Payroll Supervisor with a focus on Holdings and Monthly pays for a large organization with one direct report with a focus on Superannuation & Leases. Position Summary As an essential member of the Payroll Team, you will manage all aspects of the monthly payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate completion in compliance with the National Employment Standards (NES) and individual Leave of Absence (LOA) agreements. You will have 1 direct report focusing on Superannuation and Leases. Key Responsibilities Set up new employee profiles Address payroll-related queries and concerns Calculate and process termination, redundancy, long service leave, and parental leave payments Prepare final payroll reports and distribute payslips Complete end-of-pay processing, including generating files for general ledger uploads, Single Touch Payroll Phase 2 (STP2), and Child Support Agency (CSA) deductions Accurately code and update LOAs within the payroll system Maintain employee-manager reporting structures Enter monthly overtime data Update employee records, including address and bank information changes Process annual pay reviews and bonus payments Manage quarterly director fee disbursements Oversee superannuation and novated lease administration Core Competencies To excel in this role, you should demonstrate the following skills and attributes: High attention to detail and accuracy Proactive and self-motivated Ability to collaborate effectively in time-sensitive situations Strong analytical, interpretation, and documentation skills Competency in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders Expertise in monthly payroll systems, particularly iChris/Chris21, with experience in timekeeping and rostering platforms like Microster, TMS, and Deputy Thorough understanding of employment legislation and payroll obligations Familiarity with novated lease provider processes Required Skills and Knowledge Essential: Keen attention to detail Strong time management and organizational skills Ability to assist internal users with application and functional queries Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desirable: Experience with system implementations and process enhancements Knowledge of modern awards and industrial instruments
