Job Description Trainee Recruitment Consultant (Entry Level) $57-60k + Super + Car Permanent - Full Time Based in Nunawading Monday to Friday (8:00am - 4:00pm) Engineering People is a small engineering and trade specialist recruitment agency with big ideas and opportunities.

About the role: A day working for Engineering People as a recruitment consultant is an experience where no two days are the same, there are a variety of challenges and learning opportunities as well as fun and laughter with the team.
In the beginning there will be 12 weeks of extensive training provided where you will learn many new valuable skills.
You will learn how to run the full process from making BD calls and booking meetings with clients, through to making sure contracts are signed and more.
Each time you make a placement it is such a rewarding feeling and the team will always celebrate with a scotch (or your preference) together the end of the week.
Main Duties: BD Calls and booking meetings Attending face to face meetings with clients on their sites and taking the job brief (including site tours with each client which can be exciting and a fantastic learning opportunity) Market research on the industry you are recruiting for Writing and posting the job ads Calling applicants from the jobs ads Conducting executive searches to find potential candidates Booking and conducting face to face interviews with each candidate and testing them on their abilities Sending relevant candidates to the clients Negotiating the candidate salary so all parties are happy Getting contracts signed and ensuring the candidate is happy at their new role You will need: Experience customer service (Sales would be most beneficial) & People skills.
