APS6 Capital Works Project Officer$60.26 per hour + super 12-month contractHybrid work arrangementsCanberraWeekly pay | Labour hireAbout the role: My client is seeking an experienced Capital Works Project Officer to contribute to the delivery and maintenance of the organisation's property strategy, the associated fit-out of sites, and capital works.Duties may include:Developing and managing project plans and schedules.Providing specialist advice and technical expertise to staff and stakeholders.Performing independent research work and analysis, including the preparation of draft reports on relevant project activities.Coordinating regular project reporting, including status updates and exception reports.Preparing draft written material, including business cases, plans, executive briefs, and corporate documentation.Monitoring project budgets, reviewing and reporting on expenditure, and assisting with procurement and contract management.Identifying and assisting with the management of project risks, issues, and benefits.Contributing to project quality management to ensure that project deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.About You:You will bring previous experience as a Project Officer, bringing your background in Capital Works, Construction, and Fit-Out to this role.Our ideal candidates will have:Experience working within a Capital Projects environment.General understanding of Australian Government Procurement Guidelines.The ability to interpret planning and design documentation.Experience managing external and internal relationships.Application Requirements:Applicants must hold Australian citizenship.Be willing to undergo an Australian Federal Police Check and complete the Agency’s screening checks, including: Working With Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check.How to apply: If this role is of interest to you, APPLY NOW, with your current resume in MS Word format along with an expression of interest.
