2. Indicative Total Remuneration: $168,760 - $179,705 (pro rata) MDP3 Senior Registrar | Full Time, Until February 2027
As the HepatoPancreatoBiliary Surgery (HPB) Fellow, you will be responsible for the provision of high quality care to patients while working in the wards and other areas such as theatres, the Endoscopy Unit, investigational and procedural areas, emergency department and outpatients. You will be expected to work within the day-to-day operational rules of those areas and hold a fellowship of Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. The position requires an ability and willingness to work closely with all medical, nursing and allied health staff.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
3. Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
4. Registered with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner
5. Successfully passed FRACS or equivalent
6. Competence in surgical procedures appropriate to the Hepatobiliary unit
7. Experience in providing clinical services at a level commensurate with final year of training in HepatoPancreatoBiliary Surgery
As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Fellow/Advanced Trainee will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
