Our client is recognised as a leading developer and supplier of cloud-based dealer management software solutions for the automotive industry. With their operations in Japan expanding, a position has become available for a candidate with excellent Japanese language skills (oral and written), to help bridge the communication gap between the Australian head office, and their Tokyo operations. The ideal candidate for this role will have some understanding of the automotive industry, preferably from a dealership perspective. You may originally be from Japan and are now living in Australia, or you may be Australian-born, with fluent Japanese language skills. Candidates who do not posess automotive industry experience are still welcome to apply. With our clients Head Office being situated in Brisbane, it is desired that the chosen candidate be situated locally, however some flexibility exists if you have highly-relevant industry experience, but are situated in Sydney or Melbourne. This position will see you being an instrumental part of the businesses international team, helping to ensure that communications between Australia and Japan are clearly transmitted and interpretted. With operations in Japan expanding, it is essential that the local team have the support and training that they need, to ensure the seemless implementation of the businesses products and services. Travel to and from Tokyo will take place regularly as part of the duties of this role. There is some flexibility on the rostering of that travel, but you could expect to spend anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks in Tokyo, then 4 to 6 weeks in Australia, on an regular basis.
