The role:
As the APAC Sales Director your role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence. Leverage your expertise in customer engagement, sales negotiations, and account management to create tailored solutions that deliver value and build long-term partnerships.
This is a full-cycle sales role where success is measured by revenue generated and MWh sold and regular travel is expected.
Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate and close high-value deals with utility scale renewable energy developers, asset owners, IPPs and TNSP's
* Build and expand networks in renewable energy storage and generation
* Conduct due diligence on RFPs to make strategic decisions and recommendations on market opportunities
* Manage and grow the sales pipeline using CRM systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, commercial, and operations
* Lead customer engagements, managing key accounts and deliverables
* Attend industry events, representing the company as a key sales leader
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, economics or related study.
* 10+ years of sales experience in energy storage, power generation, distribution, transmission or power equipment supply.
* Proven experience selling to utilities, independent power producers, or large industrial customers.
* Strong negotiation skills and a track record of closing large value deals.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; experience in public companies is a plus.
