The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) will be part of an extraordinary team that delivers innovative business process software solutions for the Oil & Gas industry.As one of our SAMs, you will be responsible for building and maintaining pre and post sales relationships with Quorum’s customers while meeting short- and long-term sales goals. You will engage both existing clients and potential clients in this role: nurturing current clients and expanding our footprint in current clients, as well as captivating prospective clients.ResponsibilitiesBuild full Account Plans for assigned accountsWork closely with our internal Quorum resources to create a compelling message for clients from initial contact through to end user experienceBuild and develop a trust-based, mutually beneficial relationship with principal customer sponsorsMature and formalize account relationship expectations and address all Quorum products and servicesLead and foster company-to-company relationshipsAttain targeted sales goals and performance through effective management of resourcesSponsor and institutionalize new and innovative ways of working in teams to meet customer needsIdentify new opportunities and build credibility with customersComply with Quorum’s policies and processesLoad and update information into our systemsMaintain current functional and technical knowledge of the entire Quorum offeringBuild and develop market awareness and brand recognition in the regionAnd other duties as assignedObjectivesAchieve sales objectivesStrengthen existing relationships with clientsOwn the account Profile / Executive Briefing document for the accountsSet account strategy and formulate an account plan for all accountsEffectively manage any special deals to ensure that they are fully authorizedWork with Product Management, Marketing, and R&D to identify and validate product featuresDefine and execute a strategy aimed to drive growth in the regionUtilize product knowledge to deliver the value proposition to customersRequirementsAt least 5 years’ experience in account management and/or software sales.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related technical or business disciplineAdvanced English level requiredStrong presentation skillsAbility to negotiate and present strategic proposalsAbility to identify opportunity and close dealsPreferred SkillsHighly motivated and innovative individualExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated success in developing and implementing selling strategies for software solutionsNegotiation skillsResults-orientedPassionate about technologyStrong organizational skillsKnowledge of oil and gas industry is an assetAbility to influence at varying levels across the organizationPrepare briefings about the business, technical and financial benefits of our solutionsAdditional DetailsTravel: Ability to travel internationally 30-50%.
