Flexible Hours: 73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties:
* Oversight of data analytics, artificial intelligence and system automation processes for the practice.
* Staff resourcing requirements management, including recruitment strategy.
* L&D requirements oversight, particularly technical training development and delivery.
* Performance reporting needs management.
* Officers quality management processes and compliance oversight.
* General oversight and compliance of staff performance development and management.
* Unit resource scheduling and audit allocation process management.
* Leadership and guidance to direct reports, senior staff management in line with Performance Management Framework.
* High-level assurance work that meets auditing standards and Office's audit methodology framework.
* IT and computer systems utilization for audit work, data analysis, and report preparation.
* Audit and other assurance opinions recommendation/issuance on larger and higher risk audits.
* Signing Officer duties on delegated audits.
* Stakeholder relationship development, participation in relevant forums to build strong networks.
* High-level advice provision and decision-making based on professional expertise, experience, knowledge, and legislative interpretation.
* Report development with compelling narrative, observations, and recommendations supported by evidence and data analysis.
* Team and office cohesiveness contribution, professional relationships maintenance within the Office, leading or contributing to section and cross-office projects.
Performance Metrics:
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are developed and agreed upon for each role in the Office, documented in annual Performance Plans.
Pre-employment Checks:
* Conviction checks in specific areas, including arson, violent crimes, sex-related offenses, etc.
* Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
* Identification check.
Desirable Requirements:
* Driver's License.
* Tertiary qualification at degree level in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution; PLUS completion of an accounting/auditing certificate program with supervised or unsupervised practical experience.
* Five years' experience in the relevant discipline and/or in management.
