The Central Queensland Evolve Therapeutic Services (ETS) is aligned to Child and Youth Mental Health services and staff are located at the service centres of Emerald, Gladstone, and Rockhampton. Evolve Therapeutic Services is one of four Child and Youth Services teams, also including the Child and Youth Mental Health Service, Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service, and Youth Alcohol and Other Drugs service. ETS in Central Queensland is a multidisciplinary team including Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Nursing and Psychiatry disciplines.
About the role:
As part of a multi-disciplinary team deliver professional clinical services, including assessments and interventions, utilising a range of therapeutic modalities including individual, dyadic, and systemic interventions in the treatment of children and young people (and their carer networks) with severe and complex psychological and behavioural problems under the care of Department of Child Safety.
The First Nations Graduate Program is a two-year (24 month) graduate training program specifically for an allied health First Nations new graduate in Occupational Therapy, Social Work and Psychology with less than two years of post-qualifying experience. There are three main components of the First Nations Graduate New Graduate Program: work-based experiential learning, formalised education, and training, plus supervision and profession and culturally specific support. Participation in both supervisions, and the education and training program is required to support the achievement of clinical competency and capability.
About you:
* Mandatory Qualifications: The successful applicant must hold a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification from an accredited tertiary institution in Social Work, Occupational Therapy or Psychology.
o Occupational Therapist or Psychologists must have registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with a current annual practicing certificate.
o Social Workers must be eligible for membership by the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW). Overseas qualified Social Work candidates require a "certification of eligibility" letter from the AASW to confirm their eligibility for membership to the AASW. Overseas qualified applicants must include such evidence with their application to be considered for short listing in the selection process.
o Commitment to completing the 24-month Allied Health Graduate Program while undertaking a variety of allocated mental health and/or AODS rotations.
o The successful completion of, or the ability to complete, the Queensland Health sponsored Occupational Violence Prevention Course on appointment is mandatory.

Total remuneration value of up to $132,567 p.a. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $58.59 p.h.
