K-12 Sports Coordinator (Non-Teaching role)
Reporting to: Executive Principal
Accountable to: Head of Primary and Head of Secondary
FTE: 1.0 – 38 hours per week

Purpose of Position
The role requires insight and vision and will provide an opportunity for the successful candidate to show courageous future-focused leadership in leading and developing Sport across the whole College and Secondary (7-12) camp programs. This role includes responsibility for the College’s annual sports carnivals, coordination of gala days, and interschool Zone and State competitions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Leadership
Contribute to the development and leading of the College’s vision for sport, Secondary (7-12) camps, and extra-curricular physical activity participation levels.
Prepare sport and Secondary (7-12) camp dates for the College’s calendar.
Develop partnerships with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive sporting environment.
Ensure WHS and Child Safe requirements are met.
Develop and maintain a development plan for K-12 sport.
Liaise with the Maintenance Team to ensure facilities are ready for sporting activities.
Attend sports meetings and professional development programs as required.
Assist with the promotion of sport and Secondary (7-12) camps through various communication platforms.
Co-ordinate Annual College Carnivals
Coordinate annual College carnivals that engage students and contribute to a positive culture.
Ensure each event has a Risk Assessment and Management Plan.
Organise and transport all equipment for carnivals.
Zone/CSSA/CIS – Talented Students School Representative Pathways
Coordinate communication and administration for eligible students attending trials.
Maintain knowledge of trial dates and communicate with students and parents.
SCC Teams
Promote team sport participation and coordinate staff involvement.
Organise trials for team selection and support coaches.
Respond to parent requests and organise transport.
Co-ordinate Secondary (7-12) Camps
Plan and administer the camp program, including risk assessments and logistics.
Attend and visit some camps as negotiated with the Deputy Principal.
