Description
The Role
As an Associate Company Secretary, you'll join an experienced and high-performing team. In this role, you will report to a Principal – CoSec and provide support to a portfolio of clients who have engaged us for Outsourced Company Secretarial services. You will work closely with a range of internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions to meet clients' needs. You will receive structured training, have the opportunity for career advancement, and gain exposure to the ASX.
Responsibilities
Supporting both the Assistant Company Secretary and Company Secretary of public listed, public unlisted and proprietary Australian entities
Supporting the management of a portfolio of company secretarial clients which has engaged Automic as its outsourced company secretarial provider including responsibility for invoicing
Co-ordinating meetings including the completion and dispatch of board and committee papers and attending and minuting the meetings
Assisting with meeting periodic reporting requirements
Supporting in managing shareholder meetings including the drafting of notice of meetings
Assisting preparing director notices and lodgements required under the listing rules and Corporations Act
Administration of all functions required for public listed entities, which includes preparing and lodging all ASX communications
Skills And Experiences
Demonstrated Capabilities
Hold a relevant tertiary qualification
1-2 years of experience within a similar role
Professional knowledge of the Corporations Act, ASIC requirements, and ASX Listing Rules
Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, relationship management, and presentation skills
The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
