Be part of a team in planning and implementing study tours and training courses to raise awareness about environmental and wildlife protection in Australia and Japan.· Respond to enquiries and make arrangements for international exchanges and related activities.· Maintain and update AJWCEF website· Accompany students to training facilities, facilitate learning through interpreting and explanation of content, assist in transfer between accommodation and training facility.- Both office work and on-location work are part of this role.Who should apply? · Australian citizens, holders of permanent resident's visa (working holiday visa holders will not be considered)· Working level of written and spoken English and Japanese· Interested in the environment and wildlife protection· Friendly, able to build working relationships with clients· Strong sense of responsibility, commitment to service· Holder of a Blue Card or eligible to apply (AJWCEF will cover application costs)· Holder of open drivers' licence (preferred)· Experience in, and/or knowledge of, the fields of wildlife and/or tourism viewed favourably but not required.* Overnight & on-location (e.g. Gold Coast, Stradbroke Island) work required occasionallyJob Type: Fixed office days & hours, initially up to 30 hrs/wk with potential for full-time hours; flexibility to do extended days & hours when accompanying/facilitating training courses, study tours, etc (usually during Feb-Mar & Aug-Sept).Work Location: In person (Indooroopilly office)
