Civil / Structural Design Engineer -Temporary Works Your new company You will be joining a leading Civil / Structural Engineering Temporary Works Hire company based in Western Sydney. Your new role When required, carry out design of projects to supplied drawings and ensure that equipment is appropriate for use. To carry out & assist with designs for propping & shoring projects when required and completing 2D/3D drawings and specifications of company designed products, while liaising with customers and contract engineers when necessary. 2. Liaise with customers, customers engineers, outside contractors or any other person who is a stakeholder in the project and ensure that the equipment to be supplied is fit for purpose. 3. Use appropriate computer programmes or design criteria to ensure that the most efficient methodology is carried out. 4. If appropriate, seek approval from State Engineering Manager and/or Head of Engineering with any designs carried out for Customer Projects. In conjunction with senior management, carry out 2D and 3D drawings using Autodesk Autocad drawing software and produce specifications for manufactured products and other equipment. What you'll need to succeed Qualified Engineer- Civil and/or Structural or Mechanical Engineer degree qualified High level of computer skills Autodesk Autocad experience is necessary. Competent and adaptable in the use of civil/ structural design software. Highly effective people management & communication skills. You must be able to drive.
