Responsibilities:
* Leading the implementation of best practices for project setup, management, and ensuring compliance in procurement processes,
* Enhancing market research efforts and collaborating with stakeholders to identify existing or alternative off-the-shelf software solutions,
* Defining software requirements based on project objectives and creating official procurement documents using Defence-specific templates,
* Collaborating closely with relevant departments to advance procurement activities and providing updates to the Director,
* Supporting tender evaluations by assisting with clause matching to identify commonalities, and helping with process mapping to aid digitization efforts,
* Drafting strategies for future initiatives, including:
User acceptance testing
Stakeholder engagement
Change management
Training programs.
Key Skills:
* In-depth knowledge and recent experience in developing, customizing, and implementing contracts, as well as managing procurement processes within the Defence sector,
* Expertise in business and systems analysis, with experience defining software requirements,
* Demonstrated ability to solve complex issues through thorough analysis and investigation, and proven experience in gathering and documenting requirements,
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders,
* Familiarity with project methodologies, user acceptance testing, and change management practices,
* Relevant qualifications in Business Information Systems or a similar field, and/or a certification in Business Analysis.
