An important component of this care are the Clinical Trial/Research activities we participate in, which enable us to offer forthcoming investigational treatments to our patients. The Unit conducts phase I, II, and III trials and is a participating member of both National and International Clinical Trials Groups, incorporating both pharmaceutical industry-sponsored and investigator-driven studies across a wide range of tumour types.The Role The position is a highly valued and key resource for the clinical trial coordinators. The Laboratory Assistant will assist in the processing and management of clinical trial laboratory samples, the input of data into case report forms, and provide administrative support to ensure effective and efficient team operations with Alfred Cancer Trials. In conjunction with team members, the Laboratory Assistant will assist in maintaining appropriate regulatory documents and ensuring regulatory compliance in the conduct of clinical trials.
