We own and manage farms, factories, and distribution channels, ensuring complete control over the essential aspects of bringing livestock from paddock to plate.Site Services Supervisor to join our team in Warrnambool, Victoria.
In this role, you will be responsible for physically contributing & overseeing the maintenance and optimization of site utilities, ensuring both reliability and adherence to regulatory standards.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Water & Wastewater ManagementOversee the water usage efficiency within the facility, identifying and implementing conservation measures.Monitor and maintain the Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant, ensuring optimal performance and water quality.Manage the wastewater treatment plant, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and operational efficiency.Supervise and manage a team of plumbers and apprentices to ensure high productivity and efficiency across all plumbing tasks.Safely coordinate and oversee all plumbing operations across multiple projects and operational sites, including residential, commercial, agricultural & industrial sectors.Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure current and future operational requirements are achieved.Manage site Steam Boilers and Water Heaters to ensure availability, safety, and compliance.Engage with maintenance teams and contractors to troubleshoot issues and implement preventative maintenance programs.Compliance & SafetyEnsure all utility operations comply with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.Maintain and update records for audits, regulatory reporting, and internal compliance purposes.Promote and enforce workplace safety procedures related to utility management.SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:3-5 years experience in a similar role.Skillset in Refrigeration, Energy & Electrical Systems is highly regarded but not essential.Experience managing a diverse team and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.Proven experience in utilities management within a manufacturing environment.Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.Strong knowledge of water treatment, wastewater management, Reverse Osmosis systems and boilers.Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Additional skillsets such as an understanding of electrical systems, compliance regulations and O2 refrigeration knowledge would be looked upon favorably.WHY JOIN US?Competitive remuneration.Employee rewards program.Opportunity for career progression within our global organisation.Safe and supportive work environment by providing an Employee Assistance Program.On site canteen, free parking, staff discounts, monthly staff BBQs and annual flu vaccination program.Remuneration to be discussed upon time of interview.Apply now by sending your updated CV to ****** Midfield Group is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOtherIndustriesFarming and Meat Products Manufacturing
