The Role
Your primary focus is to supervise the mid to final stages of construction in an Aged Care facility. Reporting to the Head of Operations Minor Works, some key accountabilities of this role include:
* Oversee day to day site activities, including supervision of sub contractors, ensuring high quality and within scope
* Proactively resolve any on-site issues, mitigating delays and maintaining workflow
* Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns and providing regular progress updates to ensure satisfaction and trust
* Collaborate closely with project team to align site operations with project goals
* Ensure safety regulations and company policies are adhered to, promoting a safe working environment for all
* Day to day completion of paperwork and other admin tasks
* Weekly KPI reporting
The Criteria
* A passion for the building/construction industry with some hands-on experience (e.g., in a trade, construction assistant, or foreperson role)
* Eagerness to take the next step into a supervisory position, with a proactive, can-do attitude
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work well within a team
* A keen eye for detail and a desire to learn, with the ability to follow instructions and implement guidance from senior site staff
* A strong understanding of safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
* Current Drivers License
* A current police check (or the ability to obtain one)
