Job Description
Zancott is seeking skilled Civil Construction Labourers to contribute to the development of South Australian civil infrastructure projects in metropolitan and southern suburbs.
Ideal candidates will have experience working on construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects. They should be familiar with general labouring tasks such as manual excavation, trench works, spotting, pipe installation, and small plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and report hazards, use personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to workplace safety standards.
* Work safely and efficiently on large-scale construction sites.
* Familiarity with site preparation, earthworks, trenching, and other general construction tasks.
* Collaborate with team members and report any issues to supervisors.
* Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
* Assist with site preparation and cleanup.
* Support other trades and labourers as needed on various projects.
Requirements:
* White Card is essential.
* Car and license preferred.
* Successful completion of a face-to-face interview at the Stepney location.
* Able to pass a urine drug and alcohol screen.
* Pass a fit-for-work assessment.
* Provide working rights.
* Two checkable work references.
* Ability to work remotely.
Desirable but Not Essential:
* MR/HR Truck License.
* Plant tickets (e.g., roller, skid steer).
* Experience with pipe laying (e.g., stormwater, sewer, water, CST).
