JOB DESCRIPTION Permanent All Locations- Full Time - Hybrid - Manager Our Independence Office is responsible for ensuring that PwC Australia ("PwCA") complies with regulatory and network requirements in relation to auditor independence, blending technical skills and strategy to advise our internal functions and teams with spectacular results.
And our team is expanding.
We're looking for an Independence Manager to support and work with PwCA partners and staff across to assist them in fulfilling the regulatory and policy requirements within our vast community of solvers.
With new problems to solve, you'll have plenty of support and opportunities to grow.
We work from anywhere, so your strong communication skills and team ethos will get a workout.
You'll learn plenty as you oversee systems, following processes, escalating issues, actioning requests from staff and providing general independence advice in a workplace that's human-led and tech-enabled.
You'll solve problems by providing independence advice and performing compliance processes .
In our Independence Office you'll also: Become proficient in using the Firm's Independence systems, and will develop a good understanding on PwCA's Independence related policies and guidance.
Provide advice on a broad range of independence matters, escalating as appropriate to more senior members of the team Manage various core independence compliance functions, such as the firm-wide annual compliance confirmation process Oversee and troubleshooting activities of more junior onshore and offshore staff; Maintain clear lines of communication with fellow team members and applicable team leaders Manage service delivery ensuring that queries are answered promptly Assist with preparing and delivering training presentations, analyze regulatory requirements and drafting policies and guidance Develop good relationships with international counterparts Contribute to build knowledge and capabilities amongst team members.
Support other Independence activities.

More About You You have Bachelor degree or higher with Accounting, Auditing or Legal background You have experience in reviewing and understanding policies and regulatory requirements You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and have strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills You have a professional aptitude in building strong client and team relationships You are able to learn fast and adapt quickly with strong analytical skills International experience is a bonus You are able to work within a team and autonomously and be able able to learn and adapt to changing requirements You have strong attention to detail and are able to prioritize and manage time appropriately It's time to move forward.
