1 x Community Impact Facilitator6th February start date | 12 month positionPart time hours – 15 - 30 hours per weekRemote but must be able to travel across Sydney$42 per hour + superOur client is seeking a Community Impact Facilitator to join their team for a temporary contract on a part-time basis working up to 30 hours per week.
The individual will deliver the 'Financial Capability' program to primary and high schools in the Sydney region, empowering students by providing education, resources, and support related to financial literacy and management.The facilitator is not required to be in the office but must travel to Sydney schools 5 days a week.
The successful candidate will hold a valid driver's license and have access to their own car with compulsory third-party insurance.The program aims to equip young people with basic money management skills and financial knowledge for their futures.
In this role, facilitators will help students navigate healthy conversations about money, set goals, and understand their rights as young employees.Key responsibilities:Deliver high quality and engaging face-to-face financial literacy workshops to upper primary and secondary school-aged students.Deliver virtual workshops to upper primary and secondary school-aged students.Facilitate group discussions, interactive activities, and hands-on exercises to engage participants in learning.Build and maintain successful relationships with schools to ensure continued partnerships while collecting valuable teacher feedback.Collect and maintain accurate records of program participation, outcomes, and feedback.Achieve KPIs related to workshop quality.Act as an outstanding brand ambassador for our client.Skills and experience:Desire to make a positive impact in the community.A self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work independently and remotely.Knowledge and understanding of Financial Capability - personal finance concepts, including budgeting, credit, savings, and debt management, is beneficial but not essential.Previous experience in presenting, teaching, educating, or performing; ideally to school-aged groups (although this isn't essential).Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport.Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate school-aged audiences through face-to-face and digital mediums.Current Working with Children Check.Police check will be required.Administration skills with the ability to follow processes.Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.Experience using Powerpoint/Zoom/Teams.Please apply today if you have the skills and experience for this position!If you want to hear more about the role please reach out at ******
