About the role: You will assist in the development of business cases for new sales opportunities through on-site chemical testing and site trials. Your technical expertise will play a key role in driving customer satisfaction and enhancing their financial position. Conduct on-site chemical jar testing and site trials to support the identification and implementation of new sales opportunities. Collaborate with the sales team to create and present business cases for solutions that address customer needs and improve financial outcomes. Apply your knowledge of industrial water treatment chemistry, its applications, and relevant equipment types/functions/requirements to provide tailored solutions. Solve complex technical challenges and translate these into clear, actionable solutions for customers. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing expert technical support and advice. Deliver technical presentations and training to customers as needed. Ensure the solutions provided align with customer needs and result in successful implementation. To be successful: A STEM degree or equivalent qualification. At least 5 years of customer-facing experience in a technical support or related role, preferably within industrial water treatment or a similar field. Strong understanding of industrial water treatment chemistry, its applications, and relevant equipment types/functions/requirements. Proven ability to simplify and articulate complex technical concepts for a non-technical audience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with industrial water treatment systems and related technologies. Ability to develop business cases that demonstrate clear value to the customer. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
