Job Summary
This Workshop Supervisor position is based in Launceston, TAS, and involves overseeing a team of workshop professionals. The successful candidate will have 38 hours of work per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible job tasks and a focus on safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise workshop team members in their daily operations
* Quote workshop enquiries directly to customers
* Process orders via phone and email
* Provide customer service through counter sales and phone interactions
Requirements
* Fitting and machining skills obtained in a workshop environment
* Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic systems (an advantage)
* Sound mechanical aptitude and problem-solving attitude
* Essential experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment
* Demonstrate flexibility with job tasks
* Proven safety and quality focus
* A willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to business targets
