In addition to heart transplantation, we have a comprehensive mechanical support program which includes VA ECMO, Impella and ventricular assist devices.The ICU echocardiography group consists of 9 DDU accredited ICU consultants, and an advanced ICU registrar. The group performs over 1200 echocardiograms per year including both transthoracic and transoesophageal studies.
